Sripreecha Holding joins the "Plow Half-Half" program, supporting farmers to cut burning by 100%

Today, Sripreecha Holding had the honor of being part of the "Plow Half-Half" program together with the Nong Bua Lam Phu Provincial Agriculture Office, to help farmers who want to plow rice stubble back into the soil instead of burning it — an important way to reduce PM 2.5 dust and promote sustainable agriculture.

What are the benefits of plowing rice stubble back into the soil?

Plowing rice stubble back into the soil benefits both the environment and cultivation, with these key advantages:

Conditions the soil for planting — preparing it for a new batch of seedlings so crops grow strong.

Naturally adds nutrients to the soil — buried stubble decomposes into organic fertilizer, reducing the need for chemical fertilizer.

Helps reduce soil salinity — making the soil more suitable for cultivation.

Reduces chemical fertilizer use — nutrient-rich soil from rice stubble lowers fertilizer costs.

Reduces PM 2.5 dust — stopping stubble burning lowers air pollution for everyone's health.

Sripreecha Holding thanks Mr. Amphol Sirikham, Nong Bua Lam Phu Provincial Agriculture Officer, for giving us the opportunity to be part of this great program — for the future of sustainable agriculture and a better environment for all.
